Pools have completed the signing of highly-rated young Fulham defender Sean Kavanagh on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old is most comfortable at left-back but can also play further forward on the left flank as well as in the centre of defence and midfield if required.
Dublin-born Kavanagh has been on the books at Craven Cottage since 2011 and went on to make his senior debut against Wolves in August 2014.
Since then, the versatile youngster had made a further 26 appearances in Fulham’s First Team and gained further senior experience with a loan spell at Mansfield Town last term.
Kavanagh – who played alongside Liam Donnelly in Fulham Academy – has been handed squad number 39 at Pools and will go straight in to contention for Saturday’s game against Grimsby Town.
