Pools legend Rob McKinnon was back in the region on Saturday and was a guest of the Club for our game against Plymouth Argyle.
The popular Scot was in town with his dad Bob for a special talk-in event alongside long-time friend and fellow Pools legend Brian Honour which was held in the Victoria Lounge on Saturday evening.
As well as being guests in the Boardroom for the 1-1 draw with Argyle, McKinnon was on-hand to present the Man of the Match award to Brad Walker in the Centenary Lounge after the game.
McKinnon – who played 300 games for Pools during two spells – was then joined by Honour for the sold-out talk-in which was organised by supporters group, Friends of HUFC.
The pair talked about their careers with event host Les Watts before then answering questions from supporters at a packed house in the Victoria Lounge.
A good amount was raised for charity during the successful evening and McKinnon admitted afterwards that he had enjoyed a fantastic day back at The Vic.
You’re welcome any time, Rob!
