Club sponsors Utility Alliance have been boosted this week by news of a nomination for a big national award.
The local firm have been nominated in the Consultancy of the Year Category in the 2017 Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards.
The Club’s home and away Kit Sponsors, who were named Business of the Year in the Hartlepool Business Awards this year, have now earned national recognition.
Hundreds of businesses submit applications for the energy sector awards and for Utility Alliance to be one of a select few to be shortlisted is quite an achievement, particularly in only their second year of operation.
“We have had success in regional awards and to now get recognition on a national level is something we are really proud of,” Ian Willis, PR & Marketing Manager at Utility Alliance told us.
“We are still a relatively new company as we were only set up in 2015, so to make this much progress in such a short space of time in a highly-competitive sector is a real pat on the back for everyone involved in the company.”
Consultancy of the Year is one of twenty awards to be presented on the night, with some of the biggest names in the energy sector also having been nominated.
And Pools Chairman Pam Duxbury is delighted to see one of the Club’s main sponsors gain such recognition,
“Utility Alliance have been a great support to the Club and to myself personally over the past few months and I am so pleased to hear of their nomination.
“I know the hard work that they all put in and the great job that they are doing and this nomination is nothing more than they deserve.”
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 29th September at the NEC in Birmingham and we will all have our fingers crossed for Utility Alliance.
