We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s game against Maidenhead at York Road (12.30pm kick-off).

Pools boss Craig Harrison will assess the fitness of Luke George and Rhys Oates ahead of the weekend trip to Maidenhead United.

George has been nursing a slight hamstring worry in recent weeks but will be looked at again to determine whether he can play any part against The Magpies.

Oates was forced to sit out Tuesday night’s draw at Macclesfield Town with a tight groin and he will also be assessed ahead of the journey to Berkshire.

Maidenhead boss Alan Devonshire made only one change to his starting eleven for their midweek defeat to Wrexham after seeing them draw at Maidstone United on the opening day.

The Magpies chief felt his side were harshly done by in not picking up least a point on Tuesday and must now decide whether to shuffle his pack for the visit of Pools this Saturday lunchtime.
