The Club would like to thank everyone who kindly donated towards Prostate Cancer UK during our designated matchday for the charity on Saturday.
Collectors for Prostate Cancer UK were in and around The Northern Gas and Power Stadium before the game against Portsmouth as they sought funds to help maintain the fight against the killer disease.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, with statistics showing that 1 in 8 men will get the disease, while the odds reduce to just 1 in 4 when it comes to black men.
The EFL has linked-up with Prostate Cancer UK in recent years in an official charity partnership and we were proud to give Pools and Pompey fans the chance to do their bit to raise funds on Saturday.
Of course, the Club’s Honorary President Jeff Stelling is a long-time backer of Prostate Cancer UK and the popular Sky Sports presenter is setting off on another epic fund-raising trek in June.
