Craig Hignett’s men have been resilient in recent weeks and are looking to build on victory at Yeovil Town and a solid goalless draw against Mansfield Town last time out.

And if you reckon they can come away from Home Park with a win then why not have a little wager on it? Sky Bet are offering 12/1 on it being a 1-0 Pools victory, with 2-1 also 12/1 and 2-0 a hefty 22/1.

Billy Paynter is an 11/2 shot for the first goal on Saturday, with Padraig Amond next likely at 8/1 and former Argyle winger Nathan Thomas given odds of 8/1 to hit the net first.

Of course, Josh Laurent came close a number of times against Mansfield and could be a great outside bet for the first goal this weekend – you can back him to do it at a tempting 22/1 with Sky Bet.

Another former Plymouth man Lewis Alessandra will no doubt be up for the game this weekend – get on the summer signing to score first in a 2-1 win and you can get a great price of 75/1.
