Boro In Under-23 Action At Pools

12 September 2016

Middlesbrough Under-23s are in action at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium on Monday night when they host Swansea City in Premier League 2 (7pm kick-off).

It’s Boro’s first return to action since they were beaten 2-1 at Scunthorpe United in the Checkatrade Trophy at the end of last month and Lead Coach Paul Jenkins will be hoping for a reaction.

The game is the Teessiders’ fourth in Premier League 2 having opened the season goalless draws against Brighton & Hove Albion and Blackburn Rovers before defeating Norwich City 2-1.

Visitors Swansea City boast a 100% league record having beaten West Brom, Wolves and West Ham United so far – though they were defeated 3-0 at AFC Wimbledon in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Admission at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium on Monday night is free for Boro Season Tickets holders and £3 for everyone else.

The Club will also be opening the Centenary Lounge to fans this evening and screening the Premier League game between Sunderland and Everton.
