Thomas Set For Spell On Sidelines

29 October 2016

Pools winger Nathan Thomas could be facing some time on the treatment table after being stretchered off during the game at Barnet on Saturday.

Thomas scored Pools’ first goal before setting up the second for Padraig Amond but was carried from the field midway through the second half after suffering a groin injury.

“It’s really disappointing for Nathan and for us,” admitted boss Craig Hignett after the game.

“He’s had to come off and he was in a bad way in the dressing room afterwards so we will have to wait and see how it settles down in the next few days.”
