Team News: Pools v Leyton Orient

20 October 2016

We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Leyton Orient at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Nicky Featherstone comes back in to reckoning this weekend after the midfielder completed a three-match suspension following his red card against Luton Town.

Fellow midfield man Michael Woods has also pressed his claims for a recall after making a successful return from injury as a substitute at Carlisle United last weekend.

Matthew Bates (bone bruising) and Rob Jones (hip) have been stepping up their training in recent days but Saturday’s game may come too soon for both of them.

Leyton Orient boss Alberto Cavasin will run the rule over midfielder Liam Kelly ahead of his side’s trip to the north-east after he missed last weekend’s game against Luton Town with a knee problem.

Nigel Atangana played most of the game last week after recovering from a groin injury, while Robbie Weir is now available again after completing a three-game suspension.
