Reserves Set For Tow Law Town Test

25 October 2016

Pools Reserves are in action on Tuesday evening when they make the trip to Tow Law Town in the First Round of the Durham County Challenge Cup (7.30pm kick-off).

Sam Collins has named a young side for the game against The Lawyers, who are currently 16th in the EBAC Northern League Division Two.

Ben Dudzinski is set to start in goal, while Kieran Green, Ben Pollock, Rhys Oates and Brad Walker are also in the starting eleven at Ironworks Road.

“We’ve enjoyed a good start to the season and I want the lads to keep it going,” Collins told us.

“The lads have been excellent so far and won every game so we’re approaching this one with confidence and if they keep doing the same things then we can get another good result.

“It might be a different kind of challenge to our regular league games but that’s good for the development of the young players involved so they should be relishing it.”

Kick-off is 7.30pm and entry is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Pools: Dudzinski, Richardson, Pollock, Fielding, Turnbull, Elliott, Green, Walker, Blackford, Skidmore, Oates.
