We take a look at the latest news from both camps ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup First Round tie against Stamford at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium (2pm kick-off).
Craig Hignett will be without Nathan Thomas for this weekend’s game after the winger was told he needed surgery on a groin injury sustained during last Saturday’s trip to Barnet.
Also missing will be defender Liam Donnelly who was sent-off during the second half of Saturday’s game and he will now serve a one-game ban after the Club’s appeal was rejected by The FA.
Matthew Bates and Rob Jones are both now back in full training and Hignett will run the rule over the pair before deciding whether they are in contention for Sunday’s game.
Brad Fewster is still receiving treatment for a hamstring injury back with his parent club Middlesbrough, while Carl Magnay is out long-term with a ruptured cruciate ligament.
Stamford boss Graham Drury has no new injury worries or suspensions to contend with ahead of their weekend trip to the North-East.
However, The Daniels will be without Grant Ryan and Taylor Rhiney who are both cup-tied having played in the competition for Grantham and Arlesey respectively before joining Stamford.
