The Club is delighted to confirm that the players will wear a one-off shirt during Saturday’s game against Cheltenham Town to help raise funds for the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
It’s become tradition for Pools players to wear a different shirt around Remembrance Sunday and, after the game, we’ll make all the match-worn shirts available in a charity auction.
Every penny we raise from that auction will go directly towards the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal for which the Club has raised around £30,000 during the past ten seasons.
The Avec design, modelled here by Pools stars Josh Laurent and Harly Wise, comes complete with a poppy emblem as our tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for their country.
Keep your eyes peeled on the Official Website next week for details on how you can get your hands on one of the match-worn shirts.
