Carson Starts For Pools At Doncaster

Trevor Carson has recovered from a finger injury to start this afternoon’s League Two match at Doncaster Rovers.

The keeper dislocated his finger in the home game with Cheltenham Town last weekend but has recovered to take his place today. 

Liam Donnelly misses the game with a knock, with Jordan Richards returning to right back in his place. 

Matthew Bates partners Toto Nsiala at the back, while Nicky Deverdics again starts in a wide left spot. 

Former Doncaster Rovers man Rob Jones, who has been out with injury for much of the campaign, makes his return to the squad for the game, while fellow former Rovers player Billy Paynter is also on the bench.

Subs: Etheridge, Wright, Beestin, Longbottom, Keegan, Evina, Garrett.
