We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Monday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road (3pm kick-off).
Craig Hignett will again assess the fitness of Rob Jones ahead of the trip to Leyton Orient after the defender missed the last three games with a head injury.
However, the Pools boss will not rush Jones back in to action, especially given that the current defensive line-up have kept three consecutive clean sheets.
Trevor Carson was away with Northern Ireland on Thursday before returning to star in Pools’ 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon on Good Friday.
The keeper will now wait to see if he is needed for his country’s international with Slovenia on Monday, with Adam Bartlett on standby to start for Pools if Carson does get the nod.
Carl Magnay went off with a knee injury during the closes stages of the win over Wimbledon but it’s hoped he will shake that off in time to feature against The O’s.
Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan will be without the services of Jobi McAnuff who is away on international duty with Jamaica, and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin who has linked up with Antigua & Barbuda.
Simon Moore came in to replace McAnuff for The O’s 1-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley on Good Friday and Nolan must decide whether to make any further changes for Pools visit on Monday.
Bradley Pritchard and Connor Essam definitely won’t feature against Pools after the pair went out on loan to Stevenage and Dover Athletic respectively.
