Fenwick Joins Tranmere Rovers On Loan

23 March 2016

Pools striker Scott Fenwick has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the season.

Fenwick has been unable to force his way in to the squad at Victoria Park in recent weeks and has been keen to move on loan to get some regular game time under his belt.

Rovers are currently one place outside the play-off positions in the National League and will hope that Fenwick can find the goals to help fire them back to the Football League at the first attempt.

The 25-year-old front man joined Pools from Dunston UTS in November 2014 and has since scored twelve goals in 49 appearances, including one in last season’s crucial 2-1 win over Exeter City.

Fenwick will now link-up with his Rovers team-mates for the first time on Wednesday and go straight in to contention for their televised Good Friday game against Lincoln City at Prenton Park.
