The group stages of Euro 2016 have now finished and this means just one thing – we have a Pools Euro 2016 Prediction League winner.
And, after being there or there abouts since day one, the winner is Nathan Thomas and his Thomas’s Troublemakers.
After battling it out at the top with teammate Trevor Carson, Nathan’s prediction of the 1-0 win for Belgium over Sweden gave him the three points he needed to pip Trevor to the post.
Although there were four games yesterday, there were few points earned overall, with only Plastic Army and Slug City predicting victory for the Republic of Ireland over Italy, three teams going for the draw between Hungary and Portugal (Canadaland, Millie’s Heroes (Reserves) and Poolymads) and five going for an Iceland win over Austria (England, Hartlepool FC, Millie’s Heroes, Norfolk and Chance and Poolymads).
Thanks to all teams who entered the Euro 2016 prediction league.
