22 June 2016

The fixtures for the new Sky Bet League Two campaign have been released and Pools will open 2016/17 on home soil against Colchester United.

Another away game at Crewe Alexandra follows on the Tuesday before Pools return to action at Victoria Park against Notts County on Saturday 20th August.

Pools will also end the campaign on home turf when Doncaster Rovers are the visitors on Saturday 6th May, while the final away game of the season will see hordes of fancy-dressed Poolies descend on Cheltenham Town the previous week.

Over Christmas, Pools open up with a long trip to Portsmouth on Saturday 17th December before hosting Blackpool on Boxing Day and Morecambe on New Year’s Eve prior to a journey to Accrington Stanley on Monday 2nd January 2017.

There are a couple of big game over the Easter Weekend with Carlisle United due at The Vic on Saturday 15th April before Pools travel to Leyton Orient for an Easter Monday clash with The O’s.
