My Birthdays

Best Birthday?
"I think I would go for my 18th birthday. I had a party at my house with all my family and friends, and then we ventured out for a night on the town in Newcastle. It was great."

21st Birthday?
"If memory serves I don’t think I did a lot of celebrating because I was working for Newcastle Academy at the time and playing for Blyth Spartans so there wasn’t really any time."

Best Birthday Present?
"For my 18th birthday my parents bought me a really nice watch, it was the first quite expensive one I ever got, it was really good."

Worst Birthday Present?
"I remember being devastated around my 13th birthday because my mam bought be a Nintendo 360 but got it with the wrong game. I had wanted WCW Wrestling because I was a big fan back then but she got the WWF one by mistake which was rubbish in comparison! I have never forgiven her!"

Worst Birthday?
"Haha, I remember when I was playing for the Under 14s on my birthday one year I had an absolute shocker of a game. I was that bad that I remember seeing my dad walk out before the end – he just couldn’t watch any more!"
