Craig Hignett will split his squad in two for the next phase of his pre-season plans as Pools play simultaneous friendlies at Guisborough Town and Seaham Red Star on Tuesday night.
The Pools boss will travel with one set of players to Guisborough Town, while Curtis Fleming will lead another to their Northern League Division One rivals Seaham Red Star.
Trevor Carson has recovered from a toe injury and will take his place in the starting eleven at Guisborough and Rob Jones has recovered from a bruised foot and will start at Seaham.
There is no place for summer recruit Jake Orrell who is still nursing a thigh injury, but trialist Liam Donnelly will face Guisborough and Scott Harrison is in the Seaham line-up.
Nathan Thomas will be forced to sit out the action after taking a kick to the knee but it's expected he will be fit to face Scunthorpe United at Victoria Park on Saturday.
The game at Guisborough’s KGV Stadium will kick-off at 7.45pm and admissions prices are £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Meanwhile, the game at Seaham Town Park kicks-off at the slightly earlier time of 7.30pm and admission prices are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
We’ll have a full report on both games here on the Official Website following the final whistles.
