Mark Burrows has begun work at Victoria Park as the Club’s new Operations Director.
The 44-year-old worked for JPNG in a consultancy capacity throughout the 2015/16 campaign but started a full-time role with the Club at the beginning of July.
With experience of management in the public sector, Mark will lead on a number of projects at The Vic aimed at enhancing the services offered to supporters both on matchdays and non-matchdays.
Having previously worked at West Ham United in his younger days, Mark was keen to return to the football business full-time and is thrilled to have been given the opportunity at Pools.
“There’s so much potential at this Club and we want to make sure we realise that,” he commented.
“We’re not going to be re-inventing the wheel but my role is one that will hopefully help modernise the operations at the Football Club and improve on what we already offer to our fans.
“The excitement is high with the new season fast approaching and, as well as finalising a number projects undertaken over the summer, we have plenty of ideas moving forward too.”
