Team News: Pools v Notts County

15 February 2016

We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Tuesday evening’s Sky Bet League Two game against Notts County at Victoria Park (7.45pm kick-off).

Craig Hignett could opt to name an unchanged side after seeing his reign as Pools boss get off to a winning start on Saturday thanks to a 2-1 triumph over Yeovil Town.

Michael Duckworth is still continuing to receive treatment for a stomach strain, while Harry Worley is back in training after his ankle operation but lacking in match fitness.

Notts County boss has no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to the north-east but could consider changing his side following a disappointing 2-1 defeat at York City on Saturday.

Former Pools loan man Jason Banton made his loan from Wycombe Wanderers permanent after making his debut at Bootham Crescent so will be hoping to start again at The Vic on Tuesday.

Fellow new recruit Gary MacKenzie also made a first Magpies start at the weekend after signing on loan from Doncaster Rovers; the big defender is also likely to feature again against Pools.
