We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Sunday’s Emirate FA Cup Second Round tie against Port Vale at Vale Park (3pm kick-off).
Craig Hignett will be without Scott Harrison for Sunday’s trip to Port Vale as the defender sits the game out through suspension after reaching five yellow cards for the season.
Liam Donnelly will be further assessed ahead of the weekend with the versatile Northern Irishman hoping to shake off the knee problem which has kept him sidelined for the last three games.
Carl Magnay (knee) and Nathan Thomas (groin) remain in the treatment room long-term.
Port Vale boss Bruno Ribeiro will be unable to call upon Sam Hart and Kjell Knops after both left-sided players picked up their fifth bookings of the season last week and will therefore be suspended.
The Valiants’ Portuguese star Kiko is tipped to drop in to the left-back role, while there is hope that winger Jerome Thomas will be fit to return after missing the last two games with hamstring trouble.
Striker Anton Forrester is also suffering from a hamstring injury and is likely to remain out of action, while defender Ben Purkiss (shoulder) and midfielder Sam Foley (ankle) are still sidelined.
Midfield man Anthony Grant is now unavailable until Boxing Day after being handed a five-game suspension for misconduct following his red card at Fleetwood Town last month.
