Paynter 9/1 To Score First At Portsmouth

16 December 2016

We review the best of the odds ahead of Saturday's League Two game at Portsmouth.

The bookies don’t fancy Pools for a result at Portsmouth this weekend with the hosts installed as big 4/11 favourites for the points, while you can get a huge 7/1 on Craig Hignett’s men taking the win.

That means if you think Pools will bounce back by picking up a positive result at Fratton Park then you could be on to a winner if you have a little flutter!

Sky Bet are offering huge odds if you think you can pick a correct winning score for Pools – it’s 20/1 for 1-0, 22/1 for 2-1 and a massive 50/1 for Pools to win 2-0 at Pompey.

Padraig Amond and Billy Paynter are both rated 9/1 to score the first goal at Fratton Park, with Lewis Alessandra out at 11/1 – a good outside bet could be Josh Laurent who is on offer at 28/1 in the first scorer market.

Scorecast Special
Billy Paynter to score first and Pools to win 2-1: 135/1
