We take a look at the latest from both camps as Pools prepare to host Notts County at The Northern Gas and Power Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Craig Hignett will have no new injury worries ahead of the weekend’s game and will hope to welcome Rob Jones back in to contention for the visit of Notts County.
The veteran defender was forced off with a head injury at half time in Pools’ 2-1 win at Exeter City last week and missed Tuesday night’s draw at Crewe Alexandra as a result.
Elsewhere the Pools boss has a fully-fit squad to choose from but has hinted at possible changes to his starting eleven for the weekend’s game against The Magpies.
County boss John Sheridan boosted his defensive options when he signed Louis Lang on loan from Motherwell earlier in the week and he debuted in their midweek defeat to Plymouth Argyle.
Sheridan insisted he was happy with the level of performance against The Pilgrims despite the loss so could opt to keep faith with the same side when they travel to the North-East on Saturday.
