Stelling To Write Column In Programme

5 August 2016

Jeff Stelling has agreed to do a regular column for our Matchday Programme this season and you can read his first article in this Saturday’s issue of The Blue Print.

The Sky Sports presenter and Pools Honarary President is going to be writing for us as often as time allows during 2016/17 – and this weekend he reveals how he’s been preparing for the return of Soccer Saturday!

Also inside our new-look Matchday Programme on Saturday you’ll find an exclusive interview with last term’s double Player of the Year Trevor Carson – and he also answers a selection of the best fans’ questions we’ve received during the week.

Chairman Gary Coxall has written an extended column for Saturday’s issue in which he goes in to depth about his vision for the Club and his ambitions for the new season, while we also get the thoughts of boss Craig Hignett and skipper Billy Paynter.

We’re unveiling a brand new feature called Who Are Ya? in which we’ll be grilling a different player each week on a wide range of topics – Nathan Thomas road tests this for us this weekend with hilarious results!

It’s the ten-year anniversary of our glorious promotion campaign of 2006/07 so every week we’ll be winding back the clock and feature a different hero from that record-breaking squad.

Phil Dunn returns with his column for the new season too and this time he’s taking us back to the 1990s, while Colin Foster will be examining a memorable past game against our opposition in each issue.

There’s content in there for our younger fans, photos from recent games and an in-depth look at our visitors Colchester United.

This season’s match publication is bursting at the seams with reading so make sure you get your hands on a copy while stocks last.
