Scott Harrison has been ruled out for the rest of the season after x-rays confirmed he fractured his foot during training on Monday.
The defender fell awkwardly during the session and was immediately sent for an x-ray, which showed that he had fractured his fifth metatarsal.
“Scott is now in an aircast boot for the rest of this week until he gets further advice from the consultant on Friday,” explained Head Physio Ian Gallagher.
“He will need to go for another x-ray in six weeks and, depending on how well it’s healed, he is looking at being out of action for up to twelve weeks.”
