Team News: Pools v Cambridge United

17 September 2015

We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Cambridge United at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

Ronnie Moore will make a late decision on Billy Paynter as the striker battles to shake off a hamstring injury in time to feature against Cambridge United this weekend.

Paynter missed the trip to Exeter City on Saturday but was hoping to get back on the training ground this week and prove his fitness ahead of the encounter with The U’s.

Harry Worley took a knock on his knee during the Reserves’ game against Notts County on Tuesday and is a doubt, while Carl Magnay serves the second of his three-game suspension.

Michael Duckworth (hamstring) and Jordan Richards (back) remain sidelined which should mean that Brad Halliday makes his home debut after joining the Club on loan from Middlesbrough.

Cambridge boss Richard Money is sweating on the fitness of front man Barry Corr who pulled out of their weekend draw with Leyton Orient after picking up a thigh strain during the warm-up.

Fellow attacker Jordan Chiedozie is back with the club after spending time on loan with Braintree Town and is pushing for a place in the squad which travels to the north-east this weekend.
