Ronnie Moore has moved to strengthen his squad ahead of the weekend with the arrival of Brad Halliday on a one-month loan deal from Middlesbrough.
While Halliday is yet to make his First Team debut for Middlesbrough, he has plenty of experience at League Two level having made 24 appearances on loan at York City last term.
The youngster was named as the Minstermen’s Young Player of the Year after becoming a favourite with the City fans, performing strongly in defence and midfield.
Pools boss Moore has been on the hunt for a right-back with Michael Duckworth and Jordan Richards both injured and Carl Magnay now suspended for the next three games.
Halliday trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Thursday morning and will go straight in to the squad for Saturday’s League Two game at Exeter City.
