Pools boss Ronnie Moore and Assistant Manager Sam Collins were both at Whaddon Road on Tuesday night to see The Robins make it through to the First Round proper.
The tie at The Vic will offer Trevor Carson the chance to line-up against his former club where he won Player of the Season last term.
The sides have met sixteen times in competitive action in the past but this will be the first occasion we have played each other in the FA Cup.
Full details and ticket prices for the game will be confirmed in due course.
