Ronnie Moore has this morning made his second loan signing of the week.
Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Jason Banton has joined Pools on loan until January.
Banton signed for Wycombe from Plymouth Argyle in the summer and he played against Pools for The Chairboys in September in one of seven appearances for the club this season.
And, after the 22-year-old was made available for loan by Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth, Ronnie Moore was quick to snap him up,
“He’s a match winner, that’s for sure,” the Pools boss said of Banton.
“He’s got fantastic ability and can play on the right wing or the left and he’s a player who can excite the crowd.
“At this current moment, we are looking for someone to light the blue touch paper and Jason is certainly one who can do that.
“He’s got good experience to go with his ability and at the moment, that’s exactly what we are looking for.”
Banton will wear squad number 28 and will join up with the squad ahead of tomorrow’s Sky Bet League Two fixture at Dagenham & Redbridge.
