Ronnie Moore completed his first piece of transfer business of the summer this afternoon and it was a move that put a big smile on the face of the Pools boss.
Striker Rakish Bingham has returned to Victoria Park after catching the eye of Moore during his loan spell at the Club in January,
“We’re delighted,” Moore told hartlepoolunited.co.uk.
“When he was here during last season he did really well and we missed his pace when he went back.
“He gives us an out, he is always a threat and hopefully there will be plenty more goals to come from him as well.
“He just needs an arm around him. He has spent too much time on the bench at Mansfield and now it is up to myself and Sam to get out of him what we think he’s got in there.
“We know he can become a really competitive player and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Bingham made plenty of friends during his first spell at the Club and Moore is hoping to see the player make just as big of an impact now he’s become a Pools player,
“Everybody liked him and took to him and he did well when he was here.
“He’s quick and when you have that, it gives us chance to get out from the back four or back three if you put balls into the right areas.
“I think the Hartlepool fans will be pleased with the first of what we’re hoping will be several new signings.”
