Dan Jones Signs New Pools Contract

28 May 2015

Young defender Dan Jones has committed his future to Pools by putting pen to paper on a brand new contract at Victoria Park.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Club last term and was a virtual ever-present following Ronnie Moore’s appointment as boss in December.

Jones – who can play at left-back or centre-back – made 28 appearances during 2014/15 despite playing with a fractured wrist on which he underwent surgery at the end of the season.

The Club had initially moved to take up the option on Jones’ contract but have now agreed terms on a new deal to reward the promising defender for his form during Pools’ survival in League Two.
