It’s been a busy morning here at The Vic with supporters coming along to buy their Season Tickets for 2015/16.
And we’ve now reached our next target of 750 Season Tickets sold for the new campaign.
Gillian Walkington, a Season Ticket Holder at The Vic for 20 years, popped in this morning to buy two Season Tickets in the Cyril Knowles Stand and was our 750th supporter to sign up for the new campaign.
Gillian, who was renewing hers and husband Michael’s Tickets, is now all prepared for the new season at The Vic,
“We’re anticipating promotion,” was the positive message from Mrs Walkington.
“It’s been a full turnaround under Ronnie Moore and what he achieved last season was better than any promotion really.”
And when asked which of Ronnie Moore’s new signings they are happiest to see arrive at The Vic, Mr Walkington picked out 6’4” defender Harry Worley,
“He must be the tallest centre half we have had at the Club in 20 years. We’ve always needed a big powerful defender and hopefully he is it.”
