Former Pools defender Darren Holden has swapped Victoria Park for Victoria Park by signing a two-year deal with Scottish Premier League outfit Ross County.
The 21-year-old was released by Pools at the end of last season having made 61 appearances for the Club during three years as a pro at The Vic.
Now the South African born left-back will make a switch north of the border to link up with The Staggies – where he will feel at home because their stadium is also known as Victoria Park.
Holden turned professional at Pools in 2012 after his pace and sweet left foot (not to mention his long throw!) caught the eye coming through the Club's youth system.
Everyone at Hartlepool United would like to wish Darren all the best for the future.
