Nicky Featherstone has become the latest player to commit his future to the Club by putting pen to paper on a new deal at Victoria Park.
The midfielder was going in to an option-year on his original contract at Pools but boss Ronnie Moore has moved to reward him for his performances last term with a fresh deal.
The 26-year-old arrived at Pools on a short-term contract in October and made his debut in the 2-2 draw against Newport County at The Vic before going on to enjoy a good run in the side.
Featherstone returned to the starting eleven at the beginning of March and his excellent form was a key factor as the Club put together a run of results which lifted them clear of relegation trouble.
The former Walsall and Hereford United man follows in the footsteps of Matthew Bates and Dan Jones in agreeing a new deal at The Vic.
