We ask the midfielder to reveal some of his favourites things and pick an all-star five-a-side line-up.
I don’t eat them a lot but if I was would have McCoys Sweet Thai Chicken.
I would say Caribbean Crush, that reggae drink thing!
Don’t really eat sandwiches; I like tuna, but it stinks.
I like Domino’s Meat Feast pizza.
At the moment I enjoy watching Frank Lampard, he’s brilliant.
Apart from football, I really like watching and playing tennis.
That Bruno Mars one – Uptown Funk.
One Direction! I have just got tickets to see them in October.
I would love to play at Anfield one day because of the atmosphere.
My all-time favourite film is Gladiator – I love that.
Favourite TV series?
I’m watching Walking Dead at the moment but I’m only on series two.
We’ve asked Lewis to pick a five-a-side team including himself and four other players – one he’s played against, one he’s played with, one from history and one from the current day…
When he was on loan here he was brilliant. He just glided past people with the ball at his feet and he would be superb to have on your team when you’re playing on five-a-side.
I played against him in the Reserves against Middlesbrough a while ago and he was excellent. He’s got good ability and experience so he would just keep the ball and keep things moving for the team.
You have to have Messi in the team don’t you – I mean, how good would he be at five-a-side? He has that low centre of gravity, drops his shoulder to get past players and scored loads of goals!
He just had the lot when he was playing. He’s got skill, touch, vision – everything. I can imagine him being unplayable on the five-a-side court and he’d be the leader in the team as well.
I love playing five-a-side and used to play quite a lot. In this team I think I would play myself at the back just keeping things tight and then passing the ball on to my team-mates!
