Vote For Your Favourite Goal Of 2014

21 January 2015

We want fans to help us choose Pools' best strike of 2014 to be our nomination for Goal of the Year at the Football League Awards.

The Football League have launched the search to find the Mitre Goal of the Year for 2014 and we are asking for your help in deciding which of our goals from the last 12 months should be put forward as our nomination.

We can nominate one goal from any Football League competition in the 2014 calendar year, to include goals scored in the Sky Bet Football League, the Capital One Cup and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

At last year’s awards, James Poole’s stunning strike against Notts County in February 2013 was one of the runners-up, narrowly beaten by Coventry City’s Franck Moussa.

Now we want fans to help us decide our Club nomination for 2014 by taking a look at our special video montage on YouTube and then emailing us with your favourite.

Fans will be given the opportunity to vote for goals to make the final shortlist of five, with the overall winner being decided at the glittering Awards ceremony at The Brewery, London on Sunday 19th April 2015.

To cast your vote for your favourite goal simply email us on before the deadline of 5pm on Friday 30th January.
