Team News: Wycombe Wanderers v Pools

1 January 2015

We take a look at the latest from both camps ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park (3pm kick-off).

Ronnie Moore will be without midfielder Tommy Miller once again as he leads his side in to their first game of 2015 at Wycombe Wanderers this weekend.

The midfielder has suffered a setback in his recovery from a troublesome calf injury and is now set to spend a spell at the specialist residential rehabilitation centre at St George’s Park in the New Year.

However, Michael Woods is back in contention for Pools after serving a one-game ban but Marlon Harewood remains suspended for another two games after being sent-off at Mansfield Town on Boxing Day.

Moore is still hoping he can add to his squad ahead the weekend game, with loans being the only option if they are signed by 12noon on Saturday.

Wycombe Wanderers will have to find a replacement for Paris Cowan-Hall after the talented winger joined Championship outfit Millwall for an undisclosed fee.

As part of that deal, Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth has been able to extend the loan deal of Lions star Fred Onyedinma who will now remain at Adams Park until the end of the season.
