Jordan Jones Joins On Loan From Boro

13 February 2015

Ronnie Moore has added to his squad ahead of Saturday’s game against Stevenage with the arrival of young attacker Jordan Jones on loan from Middlesbrough.

The 20-year-old was at Victoria Park to finalise the move on Friday afternoon after the two clubs agreed a one-month deal for the Redcar-born starlet.

Comfortable in midfield or in a more central attacking role, Jones has played the majority of his football this season on either the left or right flank where he is positive and inventive in possession.

Jones has made good progress through the ranks at The Riverside Stadium and made his First Team debut for Boro when he came off the bench during a 4-1 FA Cup win over Hastings in January 2013.

His talent has also seen him recognised at international level and he has already represented Northern Ireland at Under-17 level and been included in their Under-19 squad on occasion.

Jones has been handed the number 27 shirt at Victoria Park and will go straight in to contention for Saturday, subject to Football League approval.
