Pools have extended the loan of Middlesbrough defender Adam Jackson who will now remain at Victoria Park in to the New Year.
The 21-year-old arrived at Pools on loan from The Teessiders at the start of November and made an impressive debut in our 1-0 FA Cup win over Cheltenham Town at The Vic.
Since then the central defender has been a permanent fixture in the side and boss Ronnie Moore was keen to tie up a deal to keep him at the Club for a longer period.
Discussions between the clubs have now been concluded and Jackson will remain with Pools until after our game at Newport County on Saturday 2nd January 2016.
“Adam has done well since he came to the Club so we’re pleased to keep him,” said Moore.
“He’s only relatively young but he plays with maturity so we’re happy that Middlesbrough have allowed him to stay with us until January.”
