Team News: Pools v Southend United

4 April 2015

We take a look at the latest info from both camps ahead of Monday’s Sky Bet League Two game against Southend United at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

Pools boss Ronnie Moore has no new injury concerns ahead of the Easter Monday clash with Southend United at The Vic.

Aaron Tshibola was passed fit to play in Good Friday’s 2-2 draw at Newport County after overcoming a groin injury and showed no ill effects so should be fine to feature against The Shrimpers.

Matthew Bates (leg) and Scott Fenwick (ankle) are both still a little way short of fitness, while Stuart Parnaby (knee) and Michael Woods (ankle) are also still ruled out.

Southend boss Phil Brown looks likely to be without defender Adam Thompson for his side’s trip to the north-east after he was forced off with a shoulder injury during their 2-0 win over Mansfield Town on Friday.

Cian Bolger came on in his place and looks set to continue alongside Adam Barrett when Brown’s men arrive at The Vic on Monday.

We’ve slashed ticket prices for Monday’s game with adults paying as little as £10 admission – click here now for all the details you need to help us Pack The Park.
