Paul Murray has added a second new signing to his squad this morning, with goalkeeper Jon Maxted putting pen to paper on a deal with the Club.
Pools have had only Scott Flinders available since the departure of Andy Rafferty in August and Murray has been keen to add a second option in this position.
Maxted has spent time on trial with Pools and featured in the recent Reserve Team games with Gateshead and Middlesbrough.
And, after being assessed by Murray and his coaching staff, Maxted was offered a contract with the Club.
21-year-old Maxted started out at Doncaster Rovers and has played against Pools in the pre-season friendly with Bradford Park Avenue in the summer.
Maxted will wear squad number 30 and is available for Saturday’s game with York City at The Vic.
