Darren Holden has become the latest player to commit his future to the Club after signing a new contract at Victoria Park.
The young left-back turned professional in 2012 and has now been rewarded by Colin Cooper for making good progress during the past campaign when he made 28 appearances for the First Team.
Holden made the full-back role his own in the second half of the season, starting in each of Pools last twenty outings of 2013/14 and providing an attacking presence down the left flank.
“It felt very good to sign the contract and I can’t wait to get started again in July now,” the defender told Pools Player.
“When the manager told me he was going to offer me a new deal I was overwhelmed; I’m still learning every week and I just want to keep on improving and keep a place in the team.”
The South African born youngster is the most recent player to agree a new deal at The Vic, following in the footsteps of Jordan Richards and new Player Coach Sam Collins.
