Pools Reserves return to action this evening when they travel to face Hull City in the Final Third Development League at North Ferriby United (7pm kick-off).
John Hewitson will take charge of the side following the departure of Craig Hignett, as the Reserves play for the first time since their 6-0 thrashing of Rotherham United at the start of last month.
James Poole and Jack Compton are among the starters in a young Pools line-up which also once again includes trialist Jordan Deacey in midfield.
Hull currently lie top of the East Division but Pools can move within three points of their hosts if they were to return home victorious tonight.
“We want another positive performance tonight,” said Hewitson.
“There are only a couple of league games remaining now so we want to make the most of them and finish as high up the table as we possibly can.”
We’ll have a full report from the game here on the Official Website following the final whistle.
Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
