Fans already excited about last day trip to Carlisle United after fixtures for 2014/15 revealed.
Pools fans could be preparing for one of their biggest fancy dress trips ever during 2014/15 – after it was revealed that the Club would end the campaign at Carlisle United.
It’s become a well-established tradition over recent years for Pools fans to travel in matching fancy dress to the last away game of the season and this term’s fixture has the potential for record numbers given the shorter than usual travelling distance.
In the past Pools fans dressed in unison as smurfs, Wally (from Where’s Wally?), Oompa Loompas, penguins and – most recently, at Plymouth last season – as Thunderbirds.
The brains behind the operation will already be clicking in to gear after Pools were handed their closest last day trip for many years – with Carlisle’s Brunton Park just less than ninety miles away from The Vic.
Regardless of what fans wear for the trip to Cumbria, the game is bound to have a special atmosphere and a bumper away following – especially if there is something to play for on the final day of the campaign.
