Help Poole Win Goal Of The Year

12 February 2014

Pools fans can vote now for James Poole’s strike against Notts County last February to be named Mitre Goal of the Year for 2013 at the Football League Awards.

We’re calling on all supporters to get behind the Pools star and help take his wonderfully skilful finish to the top of the rankings in the Soccer AM vote.

Of all the goals scored across the Football League during 2013, Poole’s brilliant strike against The Magpies (part of the infamous Hartley-Poole game) has been chosen as one of the ten best.

Now we want to help the Pools front man take his rightful place as part of the running for the accolade, which forms a key part of the Football League’s Annual Awards ceremony.

The deadline for voting is Tuesday 25th February, after which the top five goals will go forward for the final shortlist with the winner announced at the Awards in London on Sunday 16th March.

And to make voting even more enticing, there’s also a prize draw running alongside the vote which means you could even win two tickets to the Awards plus £200 towards travel and accommodation!
