Colin Cooper has this morning completed the signing of midfielder Tommy Miller ahead of the start of the new League Two campaign.
The midfielder has spent pre-season on trial with the Club and played in friendlies against Sunderland, Whitby Town and Bradford City.
Miller, who left Pools for Ipswich Town in 2001, has now agreed terms on his return to Victoria Park and will go straight in to the squad for Saturday’s game at Stevenage.
The 35-year-old has a wealth of experience having made over 500 league appearances during a career which has taken him to Sunderland, Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town.
North-east born Miller was on the books at Swindon Town in 2012/13 before joining Bury last summer where he made thirty appearances during 2013/14.
The midfield star will wear number 10 for Pools this season.
