Young winger Ryan Brobbel has joined Pools on a month-long loan deal from Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old star will link-up with his new team-mates on Friday morning and will be included in the squad for Pools’ League Two season-opener at Stevenage this weekend.
Highly-rated Brobbel has come through the ranks at Middlesbrough and turned professional in 2011 after impressing the hierarchy during his spell in the Academy.
He gained senior experience last term when he made 21 appearances and scored four goals during two loan stints with League Two outfit York City.
Although born in Hartlepool, Brobbel has played for Northern Ireland at junior level and went on to represent the Under 21 side at last summer’s European Championships.
The midfielder has been handed squad number 17 at Victoria Park.
