Injured Miller And Parnaby To Be Assessed

20 August 2014

We bring you an update from the treatment room following the midweek game.

The Club’s medical staff will assess Stuart Parnaby at the training ground after the summer signing was forced off through injury during Tuesday night’s defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 32-year-old pulled-up and immediately substituted midway through the second half with a hamstring problem and will now be monitored ahead of the weekend’s trip to AFC Wimbledon.

Boss Colin Cooper was without Tommy Miller for the 2-0 reverse against The Daggers but he revealed after the game that he is hopeful that the midfielder will be in contention for Saturday.

“Tommy’s back went in to a spasm after the game on Saturday,” he explained.

“He wasn’t able to play on Tuesday night but Buster (Physio, Ian Gallagher) is pretty confident that he’ll be ok for Wimbledon so we will wait and see.”
