Turn Up The Volume Says Boss

16 April 2014

Colin Cooper has asked supporters to turn up in their numbers and in fine voice for the Easter Monday game with Morecambe after the Club reduced ticket prices to just £5.

Fans of all ages can come along to The Vic this Monday for just a fiver and the Pools boss has welcomed the ‘Pack The Park’ initiative, saying it can help fire up his team for the game.

“The support we’ve had this season, both home and away, has been fantastic,” Cooper commented.

“We appreciate everyone who chooses to come and get behind us and if this offer is an incentive to get a few more people in to the ground it can only help the atmosphere, help the team and hopefully help us get the three points.

“On the whole, I think the home fans have seen some good football this season but we always want to try and send our fans home happy, particularly when we’re at The Vic.

“If we can get a few more people in the ground on Monday singing and shouting for us and it helps produce an even more positive atmosphere then that can really help the team.

“Maybe it will be your first game of the season but if you can come and support us then I would be grateful as Manager and I know the players would be as well.”

Tickets for Monday’s game are on sale now from the Club’s Ticket Office and are priced at £5 across the board for all areas of the ground.

There will also be availability on the turnstiles prior to kick-off on Monday but fans are advised to buy in advance where possible.
